Szynaka Meble building Poland’s economic landscape
On Friday, September 28th, on Piłsudski’s Square in Warsaw, Presidents Alina and Jan Szynaka took part in an official inauguration of the Economic Exhibition presenting the accomplishments of 100 years of Polish economy and promoting Polish modern technological and technical developments. Among the companies exhibited was Grupa Meblowa Szynaka.
The exposition was made up of a multimedia pavilion and an outdoor exposition space. It featured 25 Polish companies which have been embedded in Poland’s economic landscape for over 100 years. Among the selected businesses, Szynaka Meble, which has been building Poland’s economic potential for over 60 years, found its place in the “Creativity” category. The exposition showed the history of this Polish family-run company, which started up in a small handicraft workshop several decades ago.
–Our family’s active participation in building Poland’s economic potential goes back much further than the birth of our company, which is why we are very happy that we can be part of that exhibition, which shows off the history of Polish economy. Our company was established in 1957, but its roots and its birthplace go much further back. We are glad to have been invited to present the story of our company at the Polish Economic Exhibition organised to celebrate 100 years of Polish independence. Today, Grupa Meblowa Szynaka is still based on 100% Polish capital and remains a symbol of innovation and Polish technology found in over 50 countries of the world. For over 60 years, thanks to high-quality products and broad-scale marketing activity, we’ve been building our strong position as a leader on nearly all continents – says President Jan Szynaka.
The aim of the Polish Economic Exhibition is to show off accomplishments from the last 100 years of Polish economy to a wide audience, to promote patriotism in business and to inspire pride and respect for the work of a few generations of Poles. The exhibition was prepared to celebrate two events whose jubilee anniversaries fall in this and the next year – 100 years of Polish independence and the 90th anniversary of the Common National Exhibition, which took place in 1929 in Poznań. The Polish Economic Exhibition is the first exhibition since then which presents, on a broad scale, the accomplishments of Polish economy and industry. The idea behind the Polish Economic Exhibition covers five thematic areas: solidarity, new technologies, creativity, development and future generations.
