President Jan Szynaka appointed to the Entrepreneurship Council by the President of the Republic of Poland

On 10 May 2019, the Entrepreneurship Council to the President of the Republic of Poland was established. It included Jan Szynaka, President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers, President of the Management Board of Szynaka-Meble Sp. z o.o.

The Council will serve an advisory role to President Andrzej Duda. It will provide a consultative and advisory forum for the President. Its tasks will focus on providing Polish entrepreneurs with conditions for stable development and on creating and disseminating entrepreneurial attitudes.

I thank you wholeheartedly for your willingness to do this. I am absolutely convinced that Poland and Polish entrepreneurs very much need it. You represent (…) very different industries and specialities. But above all, you are experts – both because of your academic achievements, your specialisations and because you have been in business for years in your specialities and are therefore very experienced. This resource of knowledge, skills and experience is enormous – and it allows us to look broadly and see exactly what we want to repair, what we want to introduce, because it is needed” – said Andrzej Duda.

“I sincerely thank you for your readiness to take on this work. I am absolutely convinced that it is greatly needed by Poland and Polish entrepreneurs. You represent (…) a wide range of industries and specialties. But above all, you are experts—both because of your academic achievements and specializations, and because you have been engaged in business within your fields for many years, giving you immense experience. This wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience is enormous—and it allows you to take a broad perspective and recognize exactly what we want to improve and implement, because it is necessary,” said Andrzej Duda.

The Entrepreneurship Council of the President of Poland was composed of 18 members. An honourable nomination was also received from the Polish President by the President of OIGPM – Jan Szynaka, who with his knowledge and vast experience perfectly matches the ideas followed by the President during the appointment of the Entrepreneurship Council. This nomination is a great honour for the entire furniture industry, because President Jan Szynaka for several decades has successfully combined business with active participation in the development and promotion of the Polish economy and Polish furniture industry in the country and abroad. We are convinced that with his qualifications and professionalism he will make a huge contribution to the activities of the established institution.
