We are pleased to announce that Alina Szynaka was featured in the tenth “100 BUSINESSWOMEN” Ranking, taking the prestigious 3rd place. This plebiscite is run by the “Puls Biznesu” daily newspaper, which was created in 2011 to promote entrepreneurship among women of the Polish business world. “Puls Biznesu” recognises and appreciates the growing role of women in business management in Poland.
Szynaka-Meble Sp. z o.o. has been honored with the title of Ambassador of the Polish Economy in the Foreign Partners Company category. The competition is organized by the Business Centre Club under the honorary patronage of the President of the European Economic and Social Committee.
The largest furniture trade show in the US – in High Point, North Carolina – took place on 13-21 October 2020. This is a particularly important year for the Polish furniture industry, because for the first time a national showroom with products from 7 Polish brands, including Szynaka Meble, greeted American customers. It was created as part of the European Smart Design from Poland project – a joint initiative of the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers and the Polish National Foundation. This opened up great new opportunities for Poland – as the second furniture exporter in the world to start conquering the American market.
On 21-24.09.2020 we organised an online meeting with Business Partners from all over the world under the name of Szynaka Days 2020. It was another valuable experience at this difficult time, which will certainly inspire us to continue our international vision for the development of our company.
September 21, 2020 is another very important date in the history of the development of the Szynaka Furniture Group and the entire furniture industry. On that day, at 12:15 p.m., the newly built office, production, and warehouse complex Classic Sofa in Lidzbark was officially opened. Nearly 150 invited guests attended the ceremonial opening, including representatives of national, regional, and local authorities, as well as partners, friends, and employees of the Szynaka Furniture Group.
The Office of the Committee for European Integration and the Business Centre Club awarded the Grenada furniture collection a prestigious distinction – the European Medal 2020. The European Medal is a nationwide undertaking aimed to distinguish and promote products and services offered by companies operating in Poland, to arouse interest in European standards and regulations in force in the European Union, to highlight examples of good quality in Poland and in the European Union and to promote methods of achieving it, to interest Polish entrepreneurs in the multi-million market of the European Union, as well as to inspire interest among consumers and entrepreneurs from the European Union states in the winners of the European Medal. The European Medal is a recommendation awarded to distinguished products and services by the most important institution for entrepreneurs operating under the European Commission – the European Economic and Social Committee.
The “Meble Polska 2020” Furniture Fair in Poznań is one of the most important industry events organised in Europe and worldwide. Our company could not miss this important meeting of professionals from the Polish furniture industry, as participation in the Poznań event has become an inseparable element of our development strategy and trade fair tradition. This year we surprised visitors with innovative solutions, which were reflected in the slogan “Furniture with a vision for the future”.
On 28 January 2020, during the Partner Days – furniture trade fair for the furniture industry – in Bad Salzuflen, a meeting was held between the President of OIGPM, Jan Szynaka, and the management of German associations connected with furniture and wood industry in general. It was a summit meeting of organisations representing furniture manufacturers and the furniture industry from Poland and Germany. These two countries and Italy are the largest producers and exporters of furniture in Europe. The Polish furniture industry in particular has developed excellently in recent years and furniture manufacturers from Poland are important players not only in Europe but also worldwide.
The Polish Economic Exhibition, organised on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, was held on 16 January 2020 as a tribute to the achievements of the best Polish companies and their contribution to the development of the Polish economy. The event entitled. “From COP to economy 4.0” took place in the newly opened hall of the Industrial Development Agency in Stalowa Wola. The Polish Economic Exhibition brings together entrepreneurs from all over the country, selected by the Presidential Economic Chapter, who stand out due to innovation, modern solutions, but above all who refer to the traditions of Polish producers. In the elite group of nearly 70 exhibitors, there was also Szynaka Meble, effectively combining innovative, world-class technological thought with traditions dating back to 1957.
Szynaka-Meble Sp. z o.o. has once again been recognized among the national champions and awarded for outstanding export achievements. The company received the title “Outstanding Exporter of the Year 2019” for Export Product of the Year 2019, specifically for the export of living room furniture. This award is granted to companies and organizations that in 2019 stood out in the field of exports by entering new markets and strengthening the position of Poland and Polish products worldwide. The Outstanding Exporter of the Year 2019 competition is one of the largest—and the only non-commercial—initiatives of its kind organized in Poland.
