Furniture that is ahead of its time – Szynaka Meble as the leader of the furniture fair in Poznań

The “Meble Polska 2020” Furniture Fair in Poznań is one of the most important industry events organised in Europe and worldwide. Our company could not miss this important meeting of professionals from the Polish furniture industry, as participation in the Poznań event has become an inseparable element of our development strategy and trade fair tradition. This year we surprised visitors with innovative solutions, which were reflected in the slogan “Furniture with a vision for the future”.

For the last few days of February, Poznań once again became the furniture capital of the world, where industry leaders met. During this prestigious event, Polish furniture makers presented the power of domestic furniture production. The leading position of the Poznań trade fair and the presence of thousands of visitors from all over the world is, in a way, a result of the power of the Polish furniture industry. More than 500 companies presented their products in 11 pavilions during the fair. Among them, the modern Szynaka Meble WFM Kitchens stand, of 600 square metres, stood out.

The popularity of the Szynaka Furniture Group at the Poznań International Fair, along with the crowds of visitors at our company’s booth, reflects the strong position of our company on the international stage.

– Our trade fair presentation this year surprises above all with its innovativeness and diversity. In addition to new products shown at the trade fair and bestsellers in the form of cabinet furniture, we have a wide range of kitchen furniture and modern upholstered furniture. A diverse range is the great strength of our brand, which is constantly evolving. We are not only expanding our product range, but also reaching for the latest technological solutions, because we create our furniture with the future in mind. The Poznań trade fair is now ranked as one of the most important trade fairs in the furniture industry worldwide. It is visited by merchants from almost 70 countries from different continents. That is why it is necessary to be here, to exhibit here. Today, the Polish furniture industry is number one in Europe when it comes to exports. We are the sixth largest furniture producer in the world and the second largest exporter. Today we are only overtaken by China, although in the current coronavirus threat situation and due to the tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump, Chinese exports could be severely restricted, especially to the US market. This could open the way for increased furniture exports from Europe, including of course Poland, to the United States. And this year at the Poznań fair there are a lot of visitors, representatives of the biggest companies from America, we have to make good use of this. At trade fairs we can meet customers, clients, and look each other in the eye. Here, you not only show and watch furniture, but also build mutual trust, which is necessary and extremely important in business – said Jan Szynaka, President of the Management Board of Szynaka Meble.

Talks about furniture and seeing customers’ reactions to the new collections make participation in the Poznań trade fair an important element of creating a strategy for developing our brand. This is appreciated by eminent judges, as evidenced by two prestigious awards, Gold Medal 2020 for our Portii furniture collection and ACANTHUS AUREUS – an award granted to exhibitors best able to illustrate their vision behind the stand in combination with the company’s marketing strategy – said Michał Szynaka, Marketing Director.

On the first day of the fair, discussions at the Szynaka Meble company booth continued late into the evening. The “Afterparty” meeting allowed the business aspect of the event to shift into a friendly setting, creating a warm and familial atmosphere. Culinary experiences for guests, both during the evening gathering and throughout the other busy fair days, were provided by the chefs of Mortęgi Palace, which is part of the Szynaka Furniture Group.

This year, the company’s stand featured 9 new models of cabinet furniture, 3 collections of kitchen furniture produced in the Wolsztyn factory and upholstered furniture.

The owners, Alina and Jan Szynaka, are proud to emphasise that once again, thanks to the unique atmosphere at the fair stand, which is conducive to establishing and maintaining business contacts, they managed to achieve their objectives.
