40 years of work, vision, and leadership – the remarkable Jubilee of Jan Szynaka, President of the Szynaka Furniture Group
On August 2, 2025, a Jubilee Picnic of the Szynaka Furniture Group was held at the Mortęgi Palace to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the professional career of President Jan Szynaka – one of the most respected leaders of the Polish furniture industry.
The event brought together hundreds of guests: strategic partners, representatives of state and local authorities, academia, business, the clergy, as well as leading figures from the most important industry organizations from around the world. Among those present were also private guests, friends, and close family members who have accompanied the President throughout his long professional journey. The presence of such a distinguished audience was a profound expression of recognition for the vision, determination, and leadership that Jan Szynaka has contributed to the Polish economy for four decades. This exceptional jubilee became not only a symbolic culmination of 40 years of work but also a celebration of values, relationships, and community – the very foundations on which the strength and position of the Szynaka Furniture Group have been built.
The scale of the celebration fully reflected the stature of President Jan Szynaka – the founder of one of Poland’s largest furniture groups, a leader in exports, an ambassador of Polish entrepreneurship, and a promoter of family values in business.
The Jubilee combined both official and integrative elements. The program of the event was meticulously prepared and exceptionally rich. During the official part, distinguished honorary guests and the company’s strategic partners took the stage, emphasizing the significance of the jubilee and the President’s impact on the development of the furniture industry in Poland and abroad. The audience was deeply moved by the screening of a documentary film portraying the President’s 40-year professional journey, as well as the ceremonial presentation of jubilee awards to employees with more than 25 years of service. Special medals were also awarded to key business partners and individuals who had significantly contributed to the company’s growth.
There was also no shortage of attractions prepared for employees and their families. Athletes from sports clubs supported by the Szynaka Furniture Group showcased their skills: the volleyball players of AZS Olsztyn, footballers of GKS Wikielec, handball players of Jeziorak Iława, kickboxers from Kurzętnik, wrestlers from the Lubawa Sports Club, and Karolina Kalinowska (Runmageddon). Family competitions with prizes, along with numerous activities and recreational attractions, also enjoyed great popularity.
As part of the grand finale of the family “Familiada,” a symbolic drawing was held to select two children’s homes from the Warmian-Masurian region – in Lidzbark Welski and Pacółtowo. Both institutions will receive furniture with a total value of PLN 7,000 – a gesture perfectly aligned with the long-standing commitment of the Szynaka Furniture Group to social responsibility.
The event was supported by many of the company’s partners, including Bank Millennium, the Territorial Defense Forces, the County Hospital in Iława, Toyota, and the Bractwo Rycerskie Bratian. A concert by the band Andre, a jubilee cake, and a spectacular laser show added to the unique atmosphere of the celebration – filled with emotions, memories, and pride in the company’s journey so far.
A special highlight of the program was a concert by the legendary band Lombard, whose unmatched energy and emotions perfectly complemented the exceptional character of the jubilee.

It is thanks to all of you that this story has been possible. Thank you for your trust, for walking this path together, and for helping us create something greater than just a company – we are creating lasting values,” said President Jan Szynaka from the stage.
“When I began my professional journey 40 years ago, I had dreams that to many seemed unrealistic. But I believed that through work, respect, and responsibility, something lasting could be built – something that would serve others, create jobs, and provide stability. Today I know it was the right path. Szynaka Meble is not just a brand. It is family – my closest one, always by my side, and the wider family of employees built by people with passion, loyalty, and faith in the future. It is partnerships that have stood the test of time, decisions made in line with values, and growth that never forgets about people. I am proud that today we are present in so many markets around the world, but I am even prouder that at the heart of this company there still remains the human being. I thank each of you for being part of this story – a story that does not end here. There are many more chapters ahead. With people like you, with values like these – we can look to the future with courage and confidence,” added President Jan Szynaka.
