On November 11, on the occasion of National Independence Day, the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, presented state awards at a ceremony in the Belweder Palace to individuals distinguished in service to the state and society. Among the honorees was Jan Szynak, President of the Szynaka Furniture Group, who was awarded the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.

On June 7, the 5th edition of the Family Business Congress took place in Wrocław, one of the most important events in the country for family entrepreneurs. “Renewal from the Beginning” was the main theme of this year’s meeting, focusing on how entrepreneurs navigate a rapidly changing world shaken by ongoing transformations. The past two years have brought a series of changes, including economic and social shifts, that have unsettled global markets. Entrepreneurs must now contend not only with the realities of the pandemic but also with rising energy costs, inflation, tax reforms, and the disruptions caused by the war in Ukraine, which have impacted various areas of business activity.

At the Feliks Nowowiejski Warmia and Mazury Philharmonic in Olsztyn, the Marshal of the Voivodeship, Gustaw Marek Brzezin, recognized individuals, institutions, organizations, and companies from the region that not only achieve success but also, through their actions and conduct, create positive role models, set directions, and inspire others—promoting Warmia, Mazury, and Powiśle both in Poland and internationally.

We are pleased to announce that Szynaka-Meble Sp. z o.o. has been named a recipient of the Good Company 2021 award in the category Best Investor and Company Supporting Investments in Warmia and Mazury. The Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers selected the top companies from the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. Among the laureates—the fastest-growing and most dynamic enterprises in the region—was our company.
Winners of the Good Company competition were chosen in four categories: Best Investor, Best Innovator, Effective Employer, and Efficient Company. During the qualification process, experts from the Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers carefully analyzed multi-year financial results provided by the Info Veriti research agency, as well as company profiles, innovation and development potential, and reputation across a wide range of regional firms. Based on this assessment, the expert team selected the most dynamic enterprises, from which the winners were chosen.

The GRENADA furniture collection awarded the European Medal 2020
The European Integration Committee and the Business Centre Club awarded the GRENADA furniture collection the prestigious European Medal 2020. The European Medal is a nationwide initiative aimed at recognizing and promoting products and services offered by companies operating in Poland, raising awareness of European standards and regulations in the European Union, showcasing examples of high quality and methods for achieving it, and attracting Polish entrepreneurs to the multi-billion-euro EU market. It also draws the attention of consumers and businesses from EU countries to the European Medal laureates.
The European Medal serves as an official endorsement for the honored products and services, granted by the most important institution for entrepreneurs operating in connection with the European Commission—the European Economic and Social Committee.

Szynaka-Meble Sp. z o.o. has once again been recognized among the national champions and awarded for outstanding export achievements. The company received the title “Outstanding Exporter of the Year 2019” for Export Product of the Year 2019, specifically for the export of living room furniture. This award is granted to companies and organizations that in 2019 stood out in the field of exports by entering new markets and strengthening the position of Poland and Polish products worldwide. The Outstanding Exporter of the Year 2019 competition is one of the largest—and the only non-commercial—initiatives of its kind organized in Poland.

Ambassador of the Polish Economy 2018
Szynaka Meble is a company that has actively contributed to building the strength of the national economy for over 60 years. This did not go unnoticed by the jury of the “Ambassador of the Polish Economy” competition, which once again recognized the significant contribution of the Lubawa-based brand to strengthening the economic potential of our country. The ceremonial gala of the 10th edition of the competition, during which the laureates received their diplomas, took place on September 18, 2018, at the headquarters of the Business Centre Club.

The MADISON furniture collection was awarded the European Medal 2018. The final gala took place on June 20 at the Grand Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw. The ceremony began with the performance of the national anthem of Poland and the European Union anthem. Entrepreneurs attending the event included the Laureates of the European Medals, Laureates of the Honorary European Medals, hosts, and invited guests.
On behalf of Szynaka Meble, the award was received by Robert Wolanin, Marketing and E-commerce Director. “This recognition is extremely important for the entire Szynaka Furniture Group because it acknowledges the work of over 3,000 people who contribute every day to the brand’s success. Through our furniture, we aim to inspire the creation of a beautiful world around us. Montenegro furniture recognized in the Product 2018 competition
We create our furniture to transform the world around us, which is why it is especially rewarding when projects bearing the Szynaka Meble logo are recognized by their users. On February 15, the results of the online voting and the Meble Plus editorial jury in the “Product 2018” contest were announced. On Friday, February 9, 2018, President Jan Szynaka was awarded the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for outstanding contributions to the development of the Polish economy. During the ceremony at the Presidential Palace, the decoration was presented on behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, by Adam Kwiatkowski, Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the President of Poland.
The fifth Diamond added to the Golden Statuette of the Leader of Polish Business
On January 27, 2018, the 24th Great Gala of Leaders of Polish Business was held at the Grand Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw, concluding the 27th edition of the Leader of Polish Business competition. During the official part of the gala, nominations and Golden Statuettes of the Leader of Polish Business were awarded, and previous years’ laureates who maintained their market positions received Diamonds for their Statuettes. Szynaka-Meble Sp. z o.o. was among the laureates awarded an additional Diamond for this prestigious prize. This year, the company received its fifth Diamond added to the Golden Statuette of the Leader of Polish Business.

For the seventh time, awards were presented to the Laureates of the “Profiles and Brands of the Polish Economy” Program. Joining the honored group were also the Laureates of the “Profiles and Brands of Polish Local Government” Program. On November 24, the Grand Gala of “Profiles and Brands of the Polish Economy” took place at the Sangate Hotel Airport in Warsaw. The event was excellently hosted by Dorota Gardias and Krzysztof Ibisz. Guests were welcomed by the evening’s host, Mr. Robert Składowski – President of the Nationwide Federation of Entrepreneurs and Employers Przedsiebiorcy.pl, who congratulated the attendees on their successes and emphasized the Federation’s commitment to promoting Polish entrepreneurship.

On February 16, 2017, during the 4 Design Days in Katowice, one of Poland’s oldest industry competitions, “Meble Plus – Product of the Year,” was concluded. Over 70 products were submitted across 16 categories, from which the best furniture, accessories, and materials for the furniture industry were selected.

Szynaka Furniture Industry Center – Investment of the Year 2015.
We are extremely pleased to announce that on October 21, during the ceremonial Gala of the Gazeta Olsztyńska plebiscite Investment of the Year 2015 at the Warmia and Mazury Philharmonic in Olsztyn, President Jan Szynaka received the award in the Corporate Social Responsibility category for the investment of the Szynaka Furniture Group – the Szynaka Furniture Industry Center in Lubawa.
The Furniture Industry Center in Lubawa is a modern office building designed for the 22nd century, with over 1,500 m² of usable space. Equipped with spacious and modern multimedia rooms, it allows employees of the Szynaka Furniture Group direct contact with partners and clients from around the world. The project was driven by the idea of uniting the global, European, and national furniture industry. The Conference and Training Center in Lubawa serves as a distinctive showcase for the Szynaka Furniture Group, standing out for its innovation and modernity.

Szynaka-Meble Sp. z o.o. has, for the second time, been ranked among the top exporters in the nationwide Regional Export Eagles competition, in the category of Best Exporte
The Desjo furniture collection received the INSPIRACJE 2016 Award.
The INSPIRACJE 2016 competition was organized by Świat Rezydencji Wnętrz i Ogrodów and Wydawnictwo Koncept. Through this initiative, the organizers specially recognized interior finishing products, furnishings, and decorations of the highest quality and original design, awarding them the titles INSPIRACJE 2016 and INSPIRACJE 2016 Distinction. The competition was aimed at manufacturers and distributors of furniture, accessories, household appliances, finishing materials, and all types of décor that make our immediate surroundings unique.
Over 70 products across 9 categories were evaluated by a professional jury composed of interior designers, architects, and representatives of design-related institutions who regularly collaborate with Świat Rezydencji Wnętrz & Ogrodów magazine. According to the organizers, the products awarded in the INSPIRACJE 2016 competition are a discovery not only for designers and decorators but also for homeowners. This prestigious recognition is intended to inspire creative thinking about the spaces that surround us.

Since 1991, Business Centre Club has been awarding the Gold Statuettes of the Leader of Polish Business to companies and their leaders who focus not only on financial matters but, above all, on the ethics of business conduct and concern for national affairs. Diamonds to the Leader of Polish Business statuette are awarded to previous laureates who have maintained or improved their market position.

During this year’s 13th Gala of the Pearls of the Polish Economy, held on November 6, 2015, in the Ballroom of the Royal Castle in Warsaw, our company was awarded the Pearl of the Polish Economy certificate in the Large Pearls category.

On October 14, 2015, at the Warmia and Mazury Philharmonic in Olsztyn, a ceremonial gala was held during which the winners of the “25th Anniversary Investment in Warmia and Mazury” plebiscite were announced.
The Golden Honorary Cross of the Association of Piłsudski Supporters of the Republic of Poland was awarded to President Jan Szynaka
On March 19, 2015, the Olsztyn branch of the Association of Piłsudski Supporters of the Republic of Poland organized a ceremony to celebrate the name day of Marshal Józef Piłsudski. Marshal Józef Piłsudski is one of the most outstanding figures in Polish history—the creator of the Legions, the first Marshal, Commander-in-Chief, Head of State, and Prime Minister. A statesman and patriot, his determination enabled Poland to regain independence after 123 years of foreign occupation. The tradition of celebrating the commander Piłsudski’s name day was initiated by the legionnaires during World War I in 1915.

25th Anniversary of the Polish Economy
On November 8, 2014, at the Warmiński Hotel in Olsztyn, a meeting and discussion took place on the topic: Counteracting Barriers to Conducting Business Activities in Poland. The event was organized by the Olsztyn Lodge of the Business Centre Club and the Warmian-Masurian Branch of the National Chamber of Tax Advisors in Olsztyn.
Many distinguished guests attended, including the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Janusz Piechociński and Deputy Minister of State Treasury Urszula Pasławska. Szynaka Meble was represented by Board Member and Chief Financial Officer Waldemar Mieczkowski, who received, from Deputy Prime Minister Janusz Piechociński, a token of appreciation for the company’s contribution and commitment to the development of the Polish economy.
This prestigious recognition demonstrates that the company’s efforts in building the country’s economic success are significant and acknowledged by such eminent bodies. We are proud that through our actions, together with others, we have become co-creators of economic freedom in Poland.
